 If Excel does not provide sufficient
functionality for the data you wish to record and use, then Microsoft Access databases may
well be the answer.
Executype will work with your existing database, maintaining the database and entering data as
required, or will create a new facility to capture the data and provide the functionality you
need, creating forms for ease of data entry and reports to put the data to use.
Recent database projects include the development of a contact database to record client
contact details, lifestyle information and treatment records for a therapist. The database
comprises a number of input forms designed to ensure ease of use in ongoing update
and maintenance, and a series of reports to extract relevant information for
marketing purposes, including the ability to export data to other Microsoft applications such
as Word and Excel.
Other projects include the design and initial build of a database to record patient and
consultant data for a brain abnormality research group and design changes to a database
recording data associated with research into Lyme disease.
